About SmokeStack
SmokeStack Studios started in a living room, like a lot of good things do. Back in 2020, our founder Taylor Gorman — a touring musician and published photographer — got into podcasting and instantly got obsessed with making things look and sound better.
After moving to Austin in 2021, Taylor plugged into the city’s booming comedy and podcast scene. What started as helping friends with their shows turned into producing full episodes, upgrading gear, and hosting some of the most interesting up-and-coming artists and guests in town.
Smoke Stack was never meant to be a big operation — it just became one. Now we offer the same setup and service we built for our friends to anyone serious about leveling up their content. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve got a show with a following, we’ve got the space, the tools, and the team to make you look and sound great.
